Pete pounced on the Rockies roster in his rookie season in 2004. He pitched 51 innings that season and immediately took over as the team ace. Pete was the #1 starter for the next 3 seasons taking the team into the playoffs for the first time in half dozen years in 2005 and then helping the team reach their first Championship series in 2006. Although Pete prides himself as a pitcher, he is a threat with the bat and on the bases as well. Pete holds several team and league records as both a pitcher and hitter. Looking forward to seeing Pete play in 2011.
